Practitioner/CP/CPO - Shreveport, LA

Job type: Full-time / Permanent

Shift: Days

Job Description:

We are seeking a Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Prosthetist (CP) to join our team in Shreveport, Louisiana. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate practitioner to help us provide outstanding care to our patients. New graduates are welcome to apply-experience preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and fabricate orthopedic and prosthetic devices based on patient measurements and prescriptions
Interview and assess patients, develop treatment plans, and educate them on device use and maintenance
Take body measurements/impressions to ensure functional, comfortable fits
Construct devices or oversee construction by technicians

Qualifications:

Certification: ABC Certified CP or CPO (Board-eligible candidates accepted)
Strong foundation in biomechanics, anatomy, gait analysis, and kinesiology
Bachelor's degree preferred
