Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Job Details:

Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift Active Virginia medical license required - no IMLC accepted Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible BLS certification required Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days Perform upper GI endoscopy procedures including biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), injection of varices, and PEG placement Perform esophageal dilatation and manometry Conduct small bowel biopsy procedures Perform lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy Perform colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyps Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube Lodging recommendations available via preferred hotel list Assignment start date: 9/28/2026 on an ongoing basis Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
