Neonatologist

We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Neonatologist to help lead a growing Level III NICU program. This position offers a flexible week-on/week-off schedule and a home call model. The candidate will provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery. Responsibilities include attending and managing high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams. The Neonatologist will deliver patient-centered care to a daily census of approximately 9 to 11 patients. The role involves working within an 8-bed Level III NICU and 10 LDR couplet care rooms. Close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is required. This includes other Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners as well as nursing and respiratory therapy staff. The candidate will mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory teams as patient acuity grows. Participation in the development and implementation of clinical protocols is expected. The Neonatologist will contribute to the strategic growth and expansion of the NICU program. Engagement in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts is important. The candidate will maintain strong communication with hospital leadership and staff. Optional participation in additional moonlighting opportunities may be available. This position requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be necessary. The role emphasizes work-life balance within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
