Registered Nurse III - GI Procedural - 12 Hour Days

Job Description What will you be doing in this role? As a GI Lab Procedure RN, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and other GI interventions. You will be responsible for patient assessment, preparation, monitoring, procedural assistance, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory and infection prevention standards. The Registered Nurse, Procedural provides individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, recognized nursing practices, California nursing regulations, and organizational policies and procedures. The RN functions collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary staff while demonstrating professionalism, critical thinking, and sound clinical judgment. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required BSN preferred License/Certification: Current, unrestricted California RN license required ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required CGRN preferred (or willing to obtain within one year from start date) Experience: A minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience required At least 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU or PACU setting required At least 1 year of GI nursing experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Cedars-Sinai
