About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Legal Operations Specialist (AI & Automation) with exceptional project management skills to join our dynamic legal operations team. This is a technical role that will help design, improve, and scale the operational workflows that support the entire Legal team, with a focus on establishing and maintaining metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks. This role will also drive the integration of AI across the Legal team’s workflows and processes.

This is a position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

In this role, you will:

• Establish and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that give the Legal team and its stakeholders real-time visibility into workload, performance, and outcomes and manage risk.
• Redesign and continuously improve legal processes, building scalable workflows, playbooks, and templates and identifying gaps or efficiencies that allow the Legal team to handle growing demand.
• Lead internal and cross-functional legal operations initiatives end-to-end, from scoping and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage team queues, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of legal inquiries, requests, and tasks.
• Design and implement AI-assisted workflows to automate legal intake, contract review support.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations in legal operations, sharing expertise and insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 5+ years of in relevant operations/analytical/technical work, with experience at a technology or SaaS company.
• Proven ability to build and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks; comfort working with data and presenting insights to leadership.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI and AI models/tools.
• Demonstrated success in managing workflow, intake, approval, reporting, or automation tools used in legal or operations settings.
• Adaptability and a proactive mindset to navigate changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills, with a proven track record of driving successful initiatives.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects.

An ideal candidate also has:

• Proficiency or path to proficiency in building and managing agentic AI workflows and other automations.
• Experience with Zendesk, Ironclad, Ivo, Brightflag, and/or other similar tools and systems.

$80,027—$121,050 USD
