Support Services Manager

The Support Services Manager is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and ensuring delivery of quality services while achieving set goals for revenue and profitability through effective management and coordination of teams, equipment, vendors, and facility resources. The manager will oversee workloads, maintain updates in our center-wide FMMS system, and work closely with other managers and government customers to provide the highest quality of service. Key Purpose Lead and coordinate support services to meet contractual promises, improve effectiveness and efficiency, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Success Criteria Delivery of contract promises and increased effectiveness/efficiency through ISS standards and best practice opportunities. Successful delivery of prioritized projects and programs. Understand upcoming priorities with internal and external stakeholders and link project delivery to business needs. Deploy projects following global/local standards while owning rollout and completion. Develop own skill set through self‑appraisal, increased performance, and continuous improvement. Participate and embrace development opportunities. Meet required timelines without compromising the AQL system, avoiding negative Delphi numbers and KPI impacts. Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence Communicate effectively among colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company. Engage in project groups and meetings as required. Collaborate with Account Organization, Risk Management and Compliance, Customer Organization, Local Excellence Functions, External Partners and Suppliers, People & Culture, HSE, and Finance. Promote the IFS model within the ISS community. Transfer best practice among team members and use the account to further develop ISS. Ideal Candidate Experience 5+ years of direct facilities management experience in a supervisory role. Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or related field preferred. Experience with an FMMS system for work tracking and data updates. Strong supervisory background and customer service experience. Proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint). Excellent time‑management skills; able to organize and work independently. Ability to multitask with daily duties and multiple jobs simultaneously. Key Accountabilities Manage reports assigned on a weekly/monthly basis. Update customers in FMMS electronically on critical classified work schedules and costs. Work with sub‑contractors on timely resolution of issues. Estimate job costs, including labor, materials, and equipment for all types of project duties. Work a minimum of six weekends a year to support preventative maintenance schedules and demands. Conduct periodic internal reviews of established processes to ensure contractual compliance. Increase customer loyalty and satisfaction through service excellence. Physical Demands & Work Environment 8:00 am – 4:30 pm shift; occasional after‑hours required. Sitting at a computer 60‑70% of the time. Walking/inspecting the site 30% of the time. Lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Work under pressure and meet deadlines during peak periods or critical job needs. Employees are expected to participate in HSEQ training and report any potential hazards or compliance concerns. The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 – $128,400.00 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the stated range.
