Design Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Instrumentation Design Engineer for an Aviation/Aerospace company located in Evendale, OH. In this position you will help with designing instrumentation application on commercial and military jet engine components. Pay Range: $40-$48/HR. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Provide engineering direction, specifications, procedures, and drawings for application of instrumentation to development engine hardware to meet quality, safety, and functional objectives. Obtain access to and work assigned projects in the Instrumentation Workflow System (IWS). Obtain access to and utilize/adhere to Operating Procedures and Instructions (OPIs) and appropriate design practices and reference documents in assigned projects. Establish sensor requirements to meet customer measurement needs on all types of engine components. The design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and specialized knowledge / skills while adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
