We have an in-house Architectural Finishes & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.

We are seeking anexperiencedassistant project managerforour Washington DC office.This position isto be basedout of the Richmond, VA area.

What you will do:

• Reading ofdocuments and contracts.

• Writing Subcontracts.

• Negotiating and awarding subcontracts.

• Reviewing/preparingsubcontractorsscope of work.

• Develop andmaintainschedules using Microsoft Project.

• Attend meetings and prepare minutes.

• Review/prepare change orders.

• Develop/track submittals, RFIs and cost reports.

• Maintain owner relations.

What you will need to be successful:

• Minimum oftwo (2)years experiencemanaging multiple retail commercial construction projects valued at $5 million and up.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status.

• Computer Skills Required Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to create materialtake-offs.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Should be highly organized, highlymotivatedand adetail directedproblem solver.

• College degreepreferred, butnotrequired.
