Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance department and ensuring accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in accounting and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Collaborate with controller to prepare financial statements and reports
- Support the financial auditing process by providing necessary documentation and information
- Utilize accounting software to record, track, and analyze financial data
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software ideally Great Plains
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
- Strong Excel skills including pivot table and v-look ups
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
