The Travel Echo Tech is responsible for performing advanced ultrasound procedures focused on cardiac and vascular assessments within a dynamic hospital environment. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Perform adult echocardiography and vascular ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document findings according to protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to interpret results and support clinical decision-making.
- Adhere to safety standards, including infection control and body fluid precautions.
- Maintain current certifications and pursue ongoing education to attain relevant registries.
- Support workflow continuity during scheduled call and emergency procedures.
- Hold ARDMS or ARRT certification in echocardiography or vascular ultrasound.
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of clinical experience in Echo or related fields.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Show striving toward obtaining registries in all areas of specialty accreditation.
- Possess strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under stress.
- Flexibility and team-oriented attitude required.
