Health & Safety Coordinator

Job Title: Health & Safety Coordinator Location: Edison, NJ Pay Rate: $60 per hour, W 2 Summary: Duration: 2 Years Work Mode: Onsite 8hrs 5 days/wk 7am to 3:30pm (must be able to stay later if needed & possible weekend work) Responsibilities: Provide Safety oversight on specific projects. Develop and maintain a culture prioritizing Safety as a core commitment. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations. Assist in interpreting and implementing safety regulations and procedures. Review and ensure the adequacy of Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA). Conduct Job Site Observations to proactively identify and correct safety issues. Lead or participate in incident investigations and corrective action plans. Engage with project personnel to ensure Safety expectations are understood and met. Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Safety, Environmental, or Emergency Management or equivalent utility construction experience. Possess strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for commuting to job sites. CPR/First Aid trained (not required). Preferred Skills: Professional safety certification such as BCSP CHST or USOLN CUSP. Experience in safety industry or large construction projects. Proficiency in Windows applications, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
