Independent Federal Appellate Brief Counsel Remote | Performance-Based | High-Volume Federal Practice We are a high-volume federal appellate practice focused exclusively on Social Security disability appeals in U.S. District Courts nationwide. We are seeking independent appellate brief counsel to join our remote platform on a performance-based compensation model. This opportunity is designed for attorneys who: Prefer autonomy over office structure Are comfortable with performance-based income Value high-level legal writing Want consistent case flow without client management Are entrepreneurial or operate independently This is not a salaried position . It is a commission-based independent contractor role structured to align performance, quality, and income. The Model We provide: Consistent federal appellate case assignments Structured case materials Administrative support Established briefing frameworks High-volume, writing-focused work You provide: High-quality federal legal writing Professional judgment Reliable turnaround Attorneys who maintain a full caseload typically average $5,000–$8,000 per month by month six , with annual earnings commonly reaching $150,000+ , depending on volume and efficiency.
