About the Position

Unit specifics include 40 beds. Patient ratios are 1:7. Unit staffing consists of 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 7 nurses, 4 patient care technicians, and 1 unit coordinator per shift. Equipped with regular medical equipment for a med-surg unit. Documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requirements are 36 hours per week with rotating weekends. Contract labor is the first to float to like units. Patient experience requirement is 1 year or more. Hiring profile requested skill set includes med-surg RN. Advanced skills are not needed. Procedures performed on the unit include EKGs, glucose checks, and venipuncture. Dress code requires royal blue top and bottom. Unit guidelines and policies will be attached.
