Outboud Team Lead

Job Description The Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Shipping department. This includes all products initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. The role tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area and is also responsible for safety, organization, and cleanliness. Responsibilities Involvement and support with departmental process improvements. Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations. Follow and maintain the 7S Program and guidelines. Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment. Qualifications Demonstrated shipping experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment. Proven leadership experience. Problem solving, decision making, planning and organizational skills. Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Safety knowledge. Ability to perform in a fast-paced packaging environment. Perform accurately under stressful conditions. Perform a variety of duties as required. Flexibility is a must: ability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse. Ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Forklift certification is a plus. Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment. Knowledge of SAP pertaining to warehouse activities. Able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Requires ability to stand/reach/stoop/bend. Manufacturing environment / warehouse setting. Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
