Job Posting Title: Instructor/Assistant Professor Biology Position Type: Faculty Department: LSUE Chancellor - Department of Academic Affairs (Charles Francis Stewart (00279354)) Work Location: 0207A Eunice Science-Classroom Pay Grade: Academic Job Description: The Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the field of biology, both on campus and online, and is capable of teaching freshman and sophomore college-level courses. Job Responsibilities: 65% Instruct college level biology courses. 20% Office hours and advising. 10% Committee Work/University Service. 5% Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in biology or related field. OR Master’s degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related biology field from a regionally accredited institution. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biology or related field. 3 years’ experience. College level instruction in biology. Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab preferred. Salary Range: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 Additional Job Description: Specific Experience: Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab preferred.
