Welder/ Fabricator (Shop) Location: Ashland, VA Pay: Based on experience and skill level Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime frequently available) Description We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator for a full-time, shop-based role focused on fabricating miscellaneous parts and structural frames. This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on welding experience who can work independently and as part of a team. Requirements Minimum 2 years of welding/fabrication experience Ability to read and follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team Strong understanding of welding techniques and basic metallurgy Ability to plan work and select appropriate tools and equipmentHigh School Diploma or GED preferred Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen Positive attitude and willingness to learn Key Responsibilities Measure, layout, and fit parts and assemblies according to specifications Cut materials using saws, ironworkers, and other metalworking equipment Prepare components for welding using grinders, sanders, and related tools Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Determine proper welding methods and equipment based on materials and requirements Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished products Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Schedule & Benefits Full-time: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime frequently available) Health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days (employer pays majority) Paid holidays after 90 days PTO accrual begins on day one (usable after 90 days) 100% employer‑paid life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability after 6 months 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan eligibility after 1 year (no employee contribution required) All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen. #J-18808-Ljbffr
