Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Riverdale, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in an acute care facility located in the area. The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of practice in a fast-paced Telemetry environment. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as guiding patient and family education and supporting nursing staff. The RN will also ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification or stroke certification preferred, COVID vaccination/boosters preferred, BVP (MAB) training. Additional Information: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care, communicating effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient's clinical conditions, and responding quickly and accurately to clinical developments. Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and reporting procedures for child and adult abuse is required. Maintains strict patient privacy and confidentiality throughout the assignment. The assignment is scheduled to start on 08/31/2026 and conclude on 11/30/2026, with a duration of approximately three months.
