Job Title: ED RN for Float Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: Permanent Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar sized level 1 trauma facility. License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC required Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a level 1 trauma facility - Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications Description: This position is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in a very busy ED. The primary responsibility will be to care for boarded patients, which may include Med/Surg, Stepdown, and ICU patients. There may be times when the nurse is asked to float to an acute unit if necessary. Candidates should have a resume with no gaps, an ED skills checklist, and ED references.
