Job Title: ED RN for Float Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: Permanent Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: Varies Experience: 2 years in a similar-sized level 1 trauma facility License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a similar-sized level 1 trauma facility - BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications Description: The position involves working primarily in a busy Emergency Department. It requires tending to boarder patients who may need care in medical/surgical, stepdown, or ICU settings. Occasionally, staff may be asked to float to an acute unit if necessary. Candidates should have experience in a high-volume environment and be adaptable to changing situations. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. The role demands flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Candidates are expected to possess a resume with no gaps and strong references from the Emergency Department.
