APRN – Wound Care Specialist (NY)

NexGen is redefining post-acute wound care, and we’re looking for a passionate APRN to join our NY team. Built by operators and clinicians who know long-term care inside and out, NexGen prioritizes clinician sustainability, deep collaboration, and excellent patient outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced clinician who is ready to hit the ground running.

Compensation: $155,000 – $175,000 (inclusive of bonuses)

The Role: Provide expert, bedside wound care and collaborate with skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) across the NY area
Full-time W-2 position with comprehensive benefits and mileage reimbursement
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of direct wound care experience in nursing homes required
Licensure: Active APRN / Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
Clinical Mastery: Strong clinical judgment, exceptional interpersonal skills, and effective communication
Autonomy: Comfortable working independently across multiple SNFs and collaborating directly with facility care teams
Mobility: Willingness to travel within the region to maintain a full-time caseload (approximately 6 facilities)
