This position offers steady hours, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and daily home time. Drivers will operate an Ottawa yard truck moving dry van trailers and containers throughout the yard in a fast-paced distribution environment. Pay & Schedule

- Sunday-Wednesday
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Wednesday-Saturday
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Monday-Thursday
- 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM
- Operate an Ottawa yard truck safely and efficiently
- Move dry van trailers and containers throughout the yard
- Complete approximately 30+ trailer moves per shift
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and yard safety inspections
- Spot, stage, and reposition trailers as directed
- Maintain accurate inspection and equipment documentation
- Follow all DOT, company, and customer safety procedures
- Work closely with warehouse and transportation personnel

- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
- Yard driver, yard jockey, hostler, switcher, or yard truck experience preferred
- Experience moving trailers in a yard environment is a plus
- Ability to safely operate yard equipment and perform trailer spotting activities
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings
- Strong safety record and professional attitude
- Ability to work overtime during peak season as required

Job Requirements: CDL A Yard Driver Requirements:
- 12 months of verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
- Yard switching, hostler, yard jockey, or Ottawa yard truck experience preferred
- Experience must be verified
- Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain
- Acceptable MVR and accident history
- Stable work history
