Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients based on physician's orders and medical standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient health records.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous nursing experience in home care or clinical environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from patient homes.
