Position Summary

Orange EV is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of new products and manage existing products.

Position Responsibilities

• Schedule and lead project review meetings throughout the lifecycle of the product
• Collaborate with numerous internal teams, including Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and Field Service to identify, define, and resolve issues related to the product
• Collaborate closely with the Program Chief to prioritize engineering tasks related to the product
• Organize and manage engineering tasks specific to the product through Jira Software
• Manage the Engineering Change Control (ECR) process, including leading change control meetings, expediting tasks, and implementing changes into the product
• Create and update project planning documents, including project requirements, product design assumptions, bills of material, project schedule, and budget

Position Qualifications

• Engineering undergraduate degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience in product technical design or development
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management
• Demonstrated ability to effectively understand technical materials and communicate to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means to various audiences
• High level of organization managing multiple tasks of various sizes on different schedules with ever-changing levels of priority
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and plan ahead; proactive work ethic
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct daily activities with integrity and professionalism
• Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, SharePoint, and Teams

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

• Highly preferred automotive background
• Experience and knowledge in automotive product development, product launch, and manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of Jira Software
