Position Overview We are currently seeking a skilled medical technologist to join our Hematopathology lab section. This crucial role involves coordinating bone marrow specimen processing, including staining, manual differential counts, and case organization for hematopathologist review. You will have the opportunity to cross‑train in flow cytometry if desired. This position operates from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm on weekdays. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of procedures in hematology, including chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic tests. Maintain accurate records of performance, patient results, and quality control data. Ensure the upkeep and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment. Assist with training programs within the laboratory as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or equivalent is mandatory. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in a hematology lab within a hospital setting.
