We're partnered with a well-established construction firm with offices across Metro Detroit that's looking to add a Senior Estimator to their preconstruction team.

The Role:

• Lead full estimating efforts on complex, large-scale projects from conceptual budgeting through final bid
• Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid packages
• Collaborate closely with preconstruction, project management, and self-perform teams
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Participate in owner and design team meetings during preconstruction
• Track market pricing trends and maintain historical cost data
• Mentor junior estimators and support their development

What They're Looking For:

• Significant experience estimating commercial, industrial, government, or health care construction projects
• Background with a construction management, design-build, or general contracting firm
• Strong command of estimating software and takeoff tools
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• A collaborative, team-first mindset with a desire to mentor others
