Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology Tech | Location Not Provided Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician for a role in a multi-specialty department that includes Interventional Radiology, Cath lab, and EP Lab. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and possess the necessary qualifications to excel in this hands-on care setting.

Assignment Details

• On Call: Available, 5-6 days per month including a weekend
• Meal-Break Length: 30 minutes
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, usually on-call 1 weekend per month
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3600 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
• Assist in setup of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Maintain sterile field and equipment setup
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and perform necessary interventions
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE
• Use equipment for procedures such as pacemaker insertion and carotid stenting

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate Degree in Applied Sciences
• ARRT Certification
• IEMA Licensure
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• 1 year of direct experience

Preferred:

• Cath lab/EP Lab experience

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS, ACLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS, CCI RCES

Required Skills

• ASD Closures and Cardiac Implant Closure Device
• Diagnostic and Interventional Catheterizations
• Laser-assisted procedures and IABP Placement/Removal

• Room circulator and scrub procedures
• Sterile Technique and Vascular Closure Systems
