Details Work in a robust Labor and Delivery unit 13-week contract assignment Scheduled shifts are 07:00-19:30 Schedule includes 3 twelve-hour shifts per week plus 4 twelve-hour call shifts within a 6-week period Float to other similar units as needed Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required BLS certification (AHA only) NRP certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Nursys verification required within 30 days of start Additional Information Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical exams, and diagnostic data analysis Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice Foster a compassionate, respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff Apply standard work related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators Precept and mentor novice employees to support department performance Contribute to hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices Pursue continued professional growth through goal setting and educational offerings American Traveler Job ID P-740281.
