Details Work in a robust Labor and Delivery unit Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 Scheduled for 3 12-hour shifts per week plus 4 12-hour call shifts within a 6-week period 13-week assignment length Float to similar units as needed Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA only) Current NRP certification (AHA only) Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required Nursys verification required within 30 days of start Additional Information Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff Follow standard work related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators Contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring novice employees Participate in hospital-system initiatives supporting nursing-led Evidence Based Practices Demonstrate professional growth through goal-setting and continued education American Traveler Job ID P-744235.
