About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to play a pivotal role in the next phase of its U.S. growth. This senior leadership position is not for the faint-hearted; it demands a professional with a proven track record in a scaling environment, particularly in the areas of workflow redesign, close optimization, automation, and controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across U.S. entities, overseeing U.S. GAAP and statutory reporting, and strengthening controls, governance, and audit readiness. A key focus will be on improving accounting processes, workflow, and scalability, as well as partnering with IT and leadership on systems and transformation work. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a CPA, with a preference for those with a background in insurance, particularly P&C or specialty. They should have at least 10 years of progressive controllership or accounting leadership experience and a proven ability to lead teams through growth, process improvement, or transformation. The role requires a leader who can build trust, drive change, and is adept at operating both strategically and hands-on.
