The Lead Direct Support Professional will provide individualized and quality services to members with disabilities in group home. They will also follow and teach using service plans, teaching/performing daily living skills, leisure skill and planning community involvement activities. Present necessary information at staff meetings and acts as a liaison for family concerns, as needed. Key Responsibilities Assist members with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility, etc.) Transport members and assist with appointments Maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment Mentor, train, and support DSP staff Act as a liaison for families and team communication Help resolve challenges and support program operations Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation (service plans, logs, reports, etc.) Qualifications High school diploma or GED required At least 1 year of experience in direct care, behavioral health, or disabilities field Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills Ability to problem-solve and remain calm in crisis situations Experience with documentation and care coordination preferred Valid AZ driver's license & acceptable driving record (if required) Ability to pass background checks, drug screen, and obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card Physical Requirements Ability to lift/assist (50+ lbs., team lift) Frequent standing, bending, and movement Ability to assist with transfers and mobility support Copa Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
