PATIENT AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME)

Job Overview We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Patient Ambassador position at Prisma Greenville Memorial, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605. Position is open for online applications only. Full‑time schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour. Job Summary As a Patient Ambassador, you will represent the Patient Experience Team and be responsible for completing all assigned patient interviews and new admission visits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct new admission visits to all assigned units within the timeframe established by unit leadership and patient experience leadership. Ensure employees demonstrate a hospitality and respect orientation toward customers and clients. Support client satisfaction to ensure account retention. Promote client awareness of the Patient Experience Program. Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs. Assist in developing and/or monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan and reporting to clients as needed. Assist in effective employee relations programs at the unit site. Encourage employee creativity and innovation. Provide recognition for employees when programs are implemented successfully. Complete housekeeping tasks when requested by customers or patients. Resolve housekeeping issues that do not meet standards and ensure follow‑up is completed in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of office procedures and contract administration. Ability to use working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives. Fiscal and budgetary skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
