Misc. Plant Worker – Rotating 12-Hour Shifts

Pay: $21.70/hour

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Production / Plant Worker, you will support daily plant operations through general custodial duties, material sorting, and production assistance while receiving training to become an Operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general plant cleaning, custodial, and housekeeping duties.
• Sort materials and assist with daily production activities.
• Learn equipment operations and train toward an Operator position.
• Follow food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with additional plant duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, HSED, or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn new skills and train on production equipment.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and cleanliness.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to comply with food manufacturing dress and safety requirements.

SCHEDULE & BENEFITS

• $21.70/hour
• Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6 AM–6 PM and 6 PM–6 AM.
• Rotate between day shifts and night shifts approximately every month.
• Work 3–5 consecutive days followed by 3–5 days off.
• Three paid 30-minute breaks per shift.
• Full-time hours with a goal of permanent hire after 90 days.
• On-the-job training with the opportunity to advance into an Operator position.
• Required personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
