Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct routine and non‑routine analyses of in‑process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples. Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release. Perform visual inspections of finished and unfinished products. Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms. Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment. Participate in out‑of‑specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions. Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions. Receive and inspect raw materials. Investigate or report questionable test results. Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained. Identify quality problems and find solutions. Perform other duties as requested by the quality control manager. Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re‑work; confirming re‑work. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re‑work and waste; inputting data into the quality database. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with ISO 9001 & AS9100, government regulation standards, and agency guidelines. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Monitor and complete projects in a timely manner while staying within budget. Required Qualifications Excellent oral and written comprehension. Great problem‑solving abilities. Knowledge of basic mathematics that includes algebra and geometry. A broad understanding of engineering principles. Knowledge of using and calibrating measurement tools such as rulers and calipers. Well‑versed in ISO 9000 and AS9100. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person). Education & Experience 2‑3 years’ of experience preferred. Aerospace background is a plus. Experience with composite and metallic structures is a plus. Ability to read, speak and write in English. Forklift certification (available on‑site).
