Assistant Manager - Sonic Drive-In As a Cooper| Raynor |Young, Sonic Drive-In Assistant Manager, you will assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure quality food, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. We prefer to promote from within, but we are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: Responsibilities include: Hiring, training, supervising, managing, directing, and developing team members to deliver a SuperSONIC experience. Ensuring guests leave satisfied and become repeat customers. Helping employees understand the big picture and their roles by sharing the "why" behind tasks. Celebrating team successes and coaching for improved performance. Setting clear expectations and providing ongoing feedback during shifts. Creating a positive and upbeat atmosphere that makes work enjoyable. Managing food, paper, labor, and guest service standards. Maintaining SONIC safety and sanitation standards. Complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills. High standards for self and team. Positive attitude, especially during busy or stressful times. Resilience and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn and grow professionally and personally. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic math and reading skills. Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional Qualifications: Friendly demeanor and courteous service orientation. Respect for others and team-oriented attitude. Strong leadership with the ability to motivate.
