Senior Manager Biospecimen Lead

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Manager, Biospecimen Lead to oversee biospecimen management across Phase 1-4 clinical trials. This independent contributor will develop specimen strategies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely data delivery to support clinical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complete biospecimen lifecycle management for clinical studies with minimal supervision
- Create and operationalize Specimen Management Plans as core clinical team member
- Manage specimen shipping, inventory tracking, and vendor manifest coordination
- Independently review protocols and vendor statements of work for biospecimen alignment
- Identify biospecimen risks, manage Critical to Quality processes, and resolve vendor issues
Requirements
- Scientific degree (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or higher) with project management experience
- Minimum 5-6 years pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or academic industry experience
- Deep knowledge of clinical biospecimen procedures, lifecycle, chain of custody, and data management
- Demonstrated clinical trial experience and understanding of drug development processes
- Vendor management experience with central labs, bioanalytical, or biospecimen storage vendors
- Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and cross-functional communication skills
- Solid understanding of GCP, GLP, CLIA, data management, and regulatory compliance
Compensation: $130,660 - $158,332 base
