Come join us!Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures.Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly.Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products.Performs quality reviews and independent design reviews for bridges and other highway structures.Minimum requirements:Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering5 to 10 years minimum professional experience designing bridgesDemonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projectsDiverse body of work in the bridge design industryExperience coaching and leading lower level professionalsExperience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocolsAL Professional LicenseGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel as required by client (typically 20%)Technical requirements:Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferredMaster of Civil Engineering preferredSubstantial Experience with AASHTO LRFDExperience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and ALDOT in house design software preferredAtlas offers a comprehensive benefit program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
