Overview North American Construction Services, Ltd. is hiring a full-time Design Engineer to join our team in Pinson, AL.

Responsibilities Use specialized software to create models and drawings of products.
Research new materials and methods of development.
Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team.
Creates Bill of Material from drawings.
Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.
Utilizes engineering principles and standard designs to develop project designs and layouts.
Works with Sales Engineer, Project Manager, Fabrication and Field Service groups.
Coordinates production and coordination with Senior Engineer/Designer or Project Engineer/Designer.
Follow design templates when generating print sets.
Qualifications 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design engineering.
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor and Autodesk Vault (Experience with 3D solid modeling for design conceptualization and realization).
Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes including welding.
Understanding of Thermal Process Applications.
