Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring an Equipment Operator for our client. This job is responsible for operating forklifts and cherry pickers to move, pick, and stock materials, supporting inventory control, and ensuring safe and accurate warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Operate forklift and cherry picker to pick, stock, and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Accurately pick orders using RF scanners or pick sheets
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining product integrity
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a fast-paced environment

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Previous experience operating a forklift and/or cherry picker required
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights (for cherry picker operation)
• Basic computer or RF scanner experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
