Payroll Clerk

Position Summary The Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing in-house payroll accurately and on time while maintaining payroll records and supporting payroll tax compliance. This role assists with payroll transactions, employee inquiries, and payroll reporting. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll. Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes. Review timecards, deductions, and payroll data for accuracy. Assist with payroll tax reporting and ensure proper tax withholdings. Respond to employee payroll-related questions. Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation. Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits. Qualifications 1+ year of payroll processing experience. Experience with in-house payroll processing is ideal. Basic knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll compliance. Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
