Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 3385088 DIFFICULT UNIT/FAST PACED MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH >300 BIRTHS PER MONTH Double labor assignments are a daily occurrence on the Unit REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years to be comfortable working on this unit, as it can be challenging for less experience. Prefers 3 years. Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers. (But should have experience in large/ high volume similar setting). Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Circulate, Sterile vaginal exam and competent in immediate newborn care Certs: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate and NRP DIFFICULT UNIT/FAST PACED MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH >300 BIRTHS PER MONTH SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit VERY FAST PACED, busier and higher acuity than might be normally expected. May not be realistic for nurses to take 48hr contracts on this unit due to how busy it is. Strongly prefer RN with circulate to OR experience.
