Software Engineer (contract)

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing complex, multi-faceted, and longer-term software engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. The position involves contributing to the resolution of complex situations and strategically collaborating with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of strong data analysis, reporting and troubleshooting experience with SQL, Mongo DB, Excel, and Power BI
• 5+ years of Business Intelligence Reporting skills with CICD DevOps experience (Github Actions, Harness, Power BI)
• 3+ years of experience in Containers and VM setup
• Experience onboarding enterprise applications into modernized build/deploy tools such as Github Actions and Harness

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
