At First Step House, our Food Services team plays an important role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey by providing nutritious, high-quality meals in a welcoming environment. Supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunity to make a difference every day WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Food Services Cook, you'll help prepare and serve nutritious meals for clients across our programs while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. Responsibilities include: Preparing and cooking meals according to established menus Completing daily food preparation and kitchen setup Cooking banquet- or family-style meals (no individual restaurant orders) Following proper food handling, sanitation, and Health Department guidelines Opening and closing the kitchen each day Washing dishes and maintaining a clean work environment Receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries Transporting food to nearby First Step House locations as needed Assisting with inventory and maintaining an organized kitchen YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU...
