Pay will start at $13.00 per hour PLUS TIPS; this position receives tip share that will boost hourly wage by AT LEAST $5.00- $8.50 per hour which should make for a nice hourly wage. We are looking for a dynamic person to work 7:45 a.m. until approx. 3:00 p.m. Monday‑through‑Thursday, 7:45 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday. All major holidays we will be closed. This person we hire will be part of the face of our awesome deli. We need a good person that will interact with our guests and coworkers; daily grill prep, meat slicer, assist in daily restaurant prep, cook on the flattop, assist in catering and also recognize how they can help out the rest of the team to ensure an awesome experience for our customers. Responsibilities and Duties Prepping grill items for the day, prepping oven items for the day, cooking to order breakfast, lunch and catering, operate the meat slicer. Over time learning all food items to be able to assist in all food making. Maintaining grill cleanliness, cleaning and closing grill at end of day, making sure grill drawers are stocked with product. Ability to multitask if not busy and help with any prep or cleaning needed. This person must be able to interact with our customers in a warm and welcoming way, be able to work hard, have reliable transportation & be reliable. Starting hourly wage will depend on the person applying for the position. Qualifications and Skills Experience on a grill is highly coveted. Experience on a meat slicer is also coveted. Restaurant experience is required. Knife skills, food prep experience is coveted. Need to have a current food handlers permit. Experience in kitchen & restaurant environment is necessary.
