Lead Pastor Lane Prairie Baptist Church

Lane Prairie Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to shepherd a healthy, growing congregation committed to Biblical faithfulness, evangelism, and discipleship. Responsibilities The Lead Pastor is responsible for leading the church in determining its mission and purpose, and selecting objectives and goals that will assist in fulfilling its mission. He proclaims the Gospel, provides pastoral care for members and other persons in the community, and provides administrative leadership to the church staff and other elected officers. He serves as an enabler to assist and involve church members in the work of the church. The Lead Pastor must meet the Biblical standards of I Timothy 3:1-7. About Our Church Lane Prairie Baptist Church is Gospel-Centered, Disciple-Making, and Kingdom Focused. We are a multi-generational and multi-cultural church near Fort Worth, Texas, with a rich history of faithful ministry. Weekly worship services at Lane Prairie include Sunday morning worship (275 average) and Sunday morning Bible study (169) as well as Children’s Church, and strong Awana’s and youth programs. Lane Prairie Baptist Church has a heart for the community and seeks to be a Great Commission church. On a monthly basis, Lane Prairie sees an average of 40 members sharing the Gospel through Proclaim Door-to-Door evangelism in addition to the Who’s Your One emphasis shared by the church. Specific outreach events designed to help the community while also providing opportunities to share the Gospel include Operation Backpack and Thanksgiving basket programs. Lane Prairie is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. Our church understands and affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
