Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN). This position involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment and requires flexibility to float between various units based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and efficient patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience preferred: 3 years of clinical experience for first-time travelers / 2 years for returning travelers.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system is required.
• A vehicle is required for commuting to various locations.

Position Details

• Floating between different units is expected based on skills and staffing needs.
• This role requires availability to work weekends, with a schedule of every other weekend.
• Shift length: Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).
• Parking is free for all staff.

Additional Information

Travelers may be required to float to multiple locations within the region, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.

Incentives are offered for shifts worked at specific locations, and accommodations will be provided for consecutive floating shifts as necessary.
