What You'll Do Create and execute a growth strategy for transportation engineering practice, identify new markets, pursuits, and partnerships while deepening trusted client relationships Serve as a visible market leader who brings ideas forward, opens doors, and helps position the firm for long-term success in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania Lead and support project delivery with a strong focus on client experience, technical quality, collaboration, and successful outcomes Build a financially strong and sustainable practice by managing budgets, schedules, risk, performance, and growth goals Develop, mentor, and empower project managers and engineers, creating opportunities for others to grow alongside the practice Foster collaboration across local and regional offices, connecting people, ideas, and technical expertise to deliver exceptional work Encourage staff engagement in professional societies, networking, and industry leadership to expand visibility and strengthen relationships Represent the firm as an established transportation leader at client meetings, industry events, professional organizations, and strategic pursuits Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or another applicable field required 15+ years of transportation engineering experience, including a strong understanding of project delivery from pursuit through completion Proven ability to grow business, develop opportunities, and maintain a strong network of client and industry relationships in the transportation sector Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and inspire technical staff at varying levels of experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients, teams, and industry partners Entrepreneurial, self-directed mindset with the confidence to take initiative, make connections, and turn opportunities into results Servant leadership approach grounded in collaboration, integrity, innovation, excellence, and a commitment to developing others We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, age, national origin, disability status, marital status, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Burgess & Niple
