Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: El Paso, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience
Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting while adhering to national, state, company, and specialty-specific standards and guidelines.


The RN recognizes and addresses the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of patient care and actively participates in company-wide quality and performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, experienced nurse who is comfortable caring for adults with chronic illnesses and communicating effectively with patients and families in both English and Spanish .
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established nursing standards and practices.
• Assess patients' health status by conducting interviews regarding current conditions, symptoms, and medical history.
• Assess patient and family needs and provide appropriate education, teaching, and instructional materials.
• Provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
• Facilitate daily clinical operations and patient care activities.
• Manage medication refill requests received through the pharmacy telephone line and accurately document information in the patient's medical record.
• Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre-testing, diagnostic tests and procedures, referrals, and future patient appointments.
• Triage patient telephone calls as needed and document pertinent information in the patient's chart.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Coordinate services and resources related to patient care.
• Assist patients in identifying and accessing appropriate community resources.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Serve as a clinical resource and provide support to LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of patient safety and exceptional care.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred .
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience , preferably in an outpatient/clinic setting.
• Experience caring for adult patients with chronic illnesses strongly preferred.
• Oncology experience is a plus.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Strong documentation and patient-care coordination skills.
• New graduates are not preferred; candidates with 2+ years of relevant nursing experience are strongly preferred.

Compensation & Opportunity
$30-$40 per hour, depending on experience.


This position may provide an opportunity to convert to a permanent position after 3 months , based on performance, business needs, and eligibility.
