The CNA/PCA will provide compassionate and attentive care primarily in home health settings, serving geriatric and general adult patient populations. This role involves supporting patients with their daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring safety and hygiene, often during overnight or weekend shifts. The CNA/PCA will use patient monitoring devices and perform duties with a focus on empathy and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately
• Assist with patient hygiene and mobility
• Maintain patient safety and prevent infection
• Keep detailed and accurate care records
• Offer medication reminders as needed
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
• Use patient monitoring devices effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in patient care
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CNA Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Knowledge of patient safety and vital signs measurement
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Good time management and teamwork abilities
