Position Summary

We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team.

Caregivers will provide non-medical personal care and assistance to clients in their homes according to each client’s individualized plan of care.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when required
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe clients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow the client’s authorized plan of care
• Complete required visit and service documentation accurately
• Use the agency’s Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system as required
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and families
• Report incidents, falls, injuries, suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other concerns immediately
• Arrive to scheduled shifts on time and provide dependable care
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and LuxeCare staff

Qualifications

Applicants should:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a high school diploma or GED, when required for the position
• Have PCA, CNA, home care, assisted living, or related caregiving experience preferred
• Have an active North Carolina Nurse Aide listing when applying for a position requiring CNA credentials
• Be able to successfully complete required background screening
• Meet agency health and employment requirements
• Complete required orientation, competency evaluations, and training
• Have reliable transportation to assigned client locations
• Have a reliable method of communication
• Be dependable, compassionate, respectful, and professional
• Be able to safely perform the physical duties required for assigned clients
