This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide meaningful instruction to K-5th grade students within a welcoming school environment. You’ll work closely with a dedicated paraprofessional and collaborate with staff to enrich the educational experience for 12 amazing children, including some with autism and toileting needs. The role is full-time, on-site, and encourages travel candidates who bring enthusiasm for new experiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and current Educator Certification required
• Experience teaching or supporting K-5th grade students in special education
• Comfort and skill working with students with autism and assisting with toileting needs
• Ability to collaborate positively and professionally with paraprofessionals and school staff
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to individualized learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative, differentiated instruction to a self-contained classroom
• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with the team
• Provide direct instruction and implement behavioral and academic interventions
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by district policy
